Arrival Cape Town

Upon arrival at Cape Town International Airport Meet and Greet by a Travel Dilse Representative Private transfer from the airport to the hotel. Check in and freshen up. Afternoon at leisure (no services)

Cape Town

Breakfast at the hotel

Commence on a tour of the city. Take the cable car to the top of Table Mountain for a panoramic view of the city and coastline. Visit the historic Malay Quarter we go past the South African Museum, with its famed Bushmen exhibits, the Cape Castle and other interesting sights. Towards the end of the morning a visit is made at the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront. This is South Africa’s most talked about tourist venue with many shops and restaurants. (You may wish to stay at the harbour and explore on your own before returning to your hotel on your own). Afternoon at leisure (no services)

Day 3
Cape Town

Breakfast at the hotel

Full day tour of the Cape Peninsula. This tour brings you to the Atlantic suburbs, Sea Point, Clifton and Camps Bay to Hout Bay, where you embark on a boat ride to Seal Island, if weather permits. Thereafter, continue on to Mineral World, a gemstone factory. A lobster lunch will then be served at Fishhoek Galley Restaurant (own account). After lunch, drive along False Bay to the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve before reaching Cape Point, and ascend to the highest point. Continue the tour driving into Boulders Beach and see the penguins. Evening at leisure

Day 4
Cape Town – Outshoorn (Garden Route)

After Breakfast be met by a Travel Dilse representative and depart on a private road transfer to Oudtshoorn. (Drive time from Cape Town to Oudtshoorn is +/- 5.5 hours’ drive) via a visit to the Safari Ostrich Farm for the ultimate “Ostrich Experience” with hundreds of ostriches to view from incubation to full grown adults that visitors can ride. It also boasts an excellent restaurant specializing in both South African and Indian Cuisine and a Curio shop with a great range of ostrich products. Arrive at the hotel and check-in Spend the rest of the day at leisure Evening free at leisure

Knysna (Garden Route)

After Breakfast full day at leisure to explore Knysna and surrounding areas within approximate parameters with driver/guide at disposal

Knysna – Sun City

In the morning, after breakfast proceed to Sun City.  Upon arrival, check in at the hotel. Day at leisure to explore the resort including the Valley of the Waves

Day 8
Suncity –Pilanesberg

In a morning after breakfast proceed to the 57 000 hectares of the Pilanesberg Game Reserve are brimming with almost all of Southern Africa’s game species. On the transition zone of the Kalahari and the Lowveld Pilanesberg offers a unique mix of fauna and flora. A game drive in Pilanesberg in an open safari vehicle allows close encounters with lion, leopard, elephant, rhino and buffalo. The Big 5 are joined by abundance of game including rare species such as wild dog or cheetah. More than 300 bird species make things interesting for avid birders.

 Pilanesberg

Game drives are usually conducted in the early mornings of late afternoons. The cooler hours of the day see activity in the wildlife. Especially predators tend to hunt at dusk or dawn. The game drives are conducted by experienced rangers and game trackers. The rangers are always eager to share their knowledge of the environment and also happily assist you with your wildlife photography. Open safari vehicles allow for great views while still guaranteeing your safety at all times.
