Why Travel Armenia?

Armenia is a mountainous, landlocked country, on the south-eastern edge of Europe, and at the gateway to the Middle East and Asia that shall leave you awed by its beautiful ancient churches and ruins. So if you are someone who loves the old charm, this country is the place to be.

Armenia stands out with a large variety of landscapes, including 7 geographic zones, from deserts and semi-deserts to alpine and subalpine meadows. Because of the numerous mountain formations, which block the influence of seas, and the high location of the territory above sea level, the climate is continental with a large difference between the seasons, including hot summers and cold winters.

The next worth relishing fact about Armenia is its delicious local cuisine which has a different way of baking their bread. Here they do it in the Tonir that’s situated underground instead of on the ground like how Central Asia or Iran does it, making the food absolutely lip-smacking. P.S. Don’t forget to taste the delicious fruit flavoured wines as Armenia is one of the oldest country that has produced wine in the world.

What’s worth exploring is Yerevan—the pick city of Armenia! Once you step into Yerevan, you’ll be in awe of its beautiful architecture where its buildings were made up of volcanic rocks of various shades of pink! That’s how Yerevan got its nickname ‘Pink City” or sometimes also known as the city of stones. Yerevan is a very developed city with modern architecture, cultural centres (Opera House), museums and monuments that you can visit.

Last but not least, you should complete your visit to Armenia by visiting the one and only remaining Pagan Temple—Garni Temple. We recommend, you don't miss this at all.
